To the right of this page, under “Presentation List,” you will find links to the program titles for which we have record of your participation. If you are the primary contact/submitter for a program, you should have access to the “Submitter Process 2011” tab with the title(s) of the sessions listed below the tab. Likewise, if you were listed as a speaker in the original proposal, the session title(s) will appear under the “Speaker Process 2011” tab. If you are both Submitter and Speaker, you have access to both sides of the process.
Once logged in, click on the session title that takes you to the “Presentation Builder” site. You will see a header at the top indicating each step that must be completed before continuing to the next page (* denotes a required field).
Speakers may change their contact information, add a photograph, bio, and review the session program description and objectives. Primary Contact/Submitters will also be able to change their contact information, and request to add or remove a speaker (there is a PDF form to complete and return by e-mail attachment).
The navigation tools to the left offer tools to guide you through the process of developing your content, submitting your deliverables, and presenting at the national convention. Please review each section carefully. Included on these pages are critical dates, AIA National Convention and continuing education requirements, templates, and tips that will ensure a positive experience for you and your audience.
The Convention Education Program Department coordinates the logistics of more than 300 seminars, workshops, and expo education seminar opportunities for the many thousands of AIA members, allied professional, and students who attend the annual convention. Coordinating an event the size of the AIA National Convention dictates that we adhere to a critical production schedule. The primary contact designated for each program serves as liaison between session speakers and the AIA. Primary contacts are responsible for disseminating convention-related information and notifying us of changes in speakers and speaker contact information. We look forward to your assistance in establishing clear communication so essential to the overall success of the convention education program.
Let me know if we can provide additional information or assistance.
